A month in Egypt is a privilege of time spent in one of the most wonderful countries in the world. and you can see whatever you want without any problem: the Mediterranean coast, the temples on the banks of the Nile, the pyramids and the Sphinx, the most important neighborhoods of Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan or Luxor, excursions in the desert by day and night, diving and snorkeling in the Red Sea and much more.

Another advantage of a one-month tour of Egypt is that you will not have to travel by plane if you don’t want to. You can take trains everywhere, day or night, and not worry if you miss half a day. Because you have one month and it is more than enough time for you not to rush, because we must always remember that we are talking about vacations.

Itinerary I. Egypt from north to south

The planned tour of Egypt from top to bottom comprises a route of about 2000 km and includes everything from romantic and dreamy oases to the coral reefs of the Red Sea and the ruins of the fabulous Egyptian civilization of antiquity. And, of course, sailing on the mythical Nile River, the pyramids of Guizah and the best of Cairo.

Tour

If you can get a flight from your home country to Alexandria, great. If not, don’t worry, because the vast majority of flights arrive in Cairo, with excellent combinations to the legendary Mediterranean city, where your journey through Egypt from north to south begins. From Alexandria, you will return to Cairo by train or plane and, once you have visited the city and the Pyramids of Giza, you have two options: overnight train or direct flight to Luxor, your other base of operations on this itinerary. From Luxor, you will do two things: travel to the Red Sea to visit Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh and embark on a Nile cruise to Aswan. The order in which you do it will depend on you, on what you feel like doing at any given moment. You have a month, so time is quite malleable.
